Summer Friends 2010 is over and it was a huge success!

NOVA AVENTURA

Bom dia!

Desta vez vou mudar de poiso!
Em vez do Principe Real vou para o Palácio do Beau Séjour, na Estrada de Benfica!
Lá estarei com a banca Cool Temptations à vossa espera!

Os jardins do Palácio são inesperados naquela artéria tão cheia de autocarros, e têm um barzinho simpático para vos receber.
Espero pela vossa visita, é jé neste sábado, 27 de Junho, entre as 10h e as 18h!

This time I'll be changing my location!
From Principe Real I'll be moving to Palácio Beau Séjour at Estrada de Benfica.

I'll be there with Cool Temptations stall waiting for you!

The Palace Gardens are somehow unexpected in such a big traffic street, and there's also a very quiet coffee place for you to rest in!

If you happen to be in Lisbon and visiting around, do come this Saturday, June 27, from 10.00 a.m. to 6 p.m! I'll be there!

25 de ABRIL SEMPRE !

Mais um aniversário desta data cheia de significado para todos nós! Nem quero acreditar que já passaram 35 anos desde aquele dia!

Eu tenho a sorte de pertencer a uma geração que teve a oportunidade de viver o 25 de Abril e participar no fazer da História deste nosso País!

Estamos por certo a atravessar uma das maiores crises economicas das ultimas décadas, mas continuamos a celebrar a Democracia, a Liberdade de Expressão e todos os que tornaram possível o 25 de Abril de 1974.

Este ano será de uma forma diferente, pois sendo o último sábado do mês lá estarei no Príncipe Real para vos mostrar as novidades!

Apareçam a partir das 10 h , eu lá estarei para vos receber e dar dois dedos de conversa, junto a uma banca cheia de peças únicas para vos mostrar!!

25th APRIL ALWAYS !

Yet another anniversary of this meaningful day for all of us in Portugal! I can't believe it's the 35th already!!!

I'm lucky enough to be part of a generation that had the opportunity to go through those fantastic days of History making at an interesting age!

We are surely going through one of the major ecomical crisis of the last decades, but we are still celebrating Democracy, Freedom of Speech and all of those who made "25 de Abril de 1974" possible!

I'll celebrate it differently this year, as it happens to be the last saturday of April, and I'll be at Principe Real's street fair to show you what's new!

If you happen to be in Lisbon, be sure to show up from 10 am to 6 pm, I'll be there to greet you and chat for a while, next to a stall filled with one of a kind jewellery just for you!!!

Ainda bem que foi ontem!

Sim, é verdade! Ainda bem que ontem não choveu como agora!

Lá estivemos mais uma vez no Principe Real, desta vez com muito mais feirantes e com coisas óptimas! Uns mais protegidos do que outros, ainda choviscou uma vez ou outra, mas sempre presentes!

Nós lá estivemos com a nossa banca animada, e eu quero mesmo agradecer a todos os amigos e clientes que por lá passaram a apoiar a nossa aventura!

Muito obrigada e em Março lá estaremos de novo!!!!

I'M SO GLAD IT WAS YESTERDAY!

Yes, it's true !! I'm glad yesterday wasn't raining a lot like today!

There we were again, at the Handcrafted and Antiques street Fair at Principe Real, this time with a lot of other sellers with so many beautiful things! Some had a better shelter than others, we had light rain once or twice, but we all stood proudly at our stalls!

We stood by our combined stall with friends, very joyful all throught the day, and I want to say thank you to all the friends and customers that visited us and gave us their support to our monthly adventure!!

Thank you and we will be back in March!!

Está mesmo um dia de praia!! Que pena não ser hoje a feira do Principe Real!!

Mas é já no próximo sábado, dia 28 de Fevereiro, apareçam!!

WONDERFUL WEATHER !!!

We could really spend it at the beach! I'm really sorry that the Handcrafted and Antiques street Fair at Principe Real isn't today!!

It's next Saturday, February 28m, so if you happen to be in town don't forget to pay us a visit!

Cooltemptations no Principe Real

As festas já passaram e até já estamos em Fevereiro!

O tempo voa e nem sempre nos deixa fazer o que gostamos!

Mas este fim de semana, não deixei passar a oportunidade de experimentar, uma feira ao ar livre! Há sempre uma 1ª vez para tudo na vida!!

Umas amigas desafiaram-me, juntámos esforços e, apesar da chuva de 6ª feira, das previsões apocalípticas da meteorologia e do friozinho que tem estado, no sábado o sol brilhou um pouco de manhã e lá nos plantámos na Feira de Artesanato, Antiguidades e Velharias no Príncipe Real !

O local é fantástico e, apesar da pouca afluência, divertimo-nos bastante e voltaremos no fim do mês de fevereiro, no último sábado.

Holiday season is gone and we're already in February!
Time flies and we don't always get the time to do what we like!
But this last weekend, I decided to try something new! There's always a first time for everything in life!
In spite of the rain, the cold and the apocaliptical weather forecast, I joined a group of friends in this new adventure, and on Saturday morning a shy sunshine allowed us to go to the Handcrafted and Antiques street Fair at Principe Real, a beautiful square in Lisbon, where there's also a weekly market of organic farming taking place on every Saturday.
At our stall you can also find handmade jams and chutneys, cookies and muffins, by AT HOME (http://comidasathome.blogspot.com/) and beautiful and most comfortable accessories by BAGOXA (http://www.bagoxa.com/).
If you happen to be visiting our beautiful city, don't forget to drop by on the last Saturday of each month! We'll be there for you!!!

Acessórios que fazem a diferença

Está um dia lindo em Lisboa, e decidi colocar aqui umas peças muito coloridas que dão um toque de diferença!
Chamo-lhes pregadeiras, ou alfinetes, que podem ser usadas como simples complemento em peças de roupa ou chapéus, e são muito decorativas.
